With over 40 years of experience, Bruno Construction Masonry, Inc. has been a trusted provider of masonry restoration services throughout Chicago and the surrounding suburbs. Founded in the early 1980s, our company remains family-owned and operated and proudly operates as a non-union masonry restoration contractor.

Built From the Ground Up

Bruno Construction Masonry, Inc. was founded by Bruno Dymek, who built the company the right way—by learning every aspect of the masonry trade firsthand. Bruno began his career as a masonry laborer, mixing mortar and carrying brick and materials on job sites across Chicago. Through years of dedication, he worked his way up to a tuckpointer and then to a skilled bricklayer.
 

After more than a decade of hands-on experience mastering masonry restoration techniques, Bruno opened his own company and named it Bruno Construction Masonry, Inc. His deep understanding of the trade laid the foundation for the quality, reliability, and craftsmanship the company is known for today.

From the beginning, Bruno focused on safety, quality workmanship, honesty, and clear communication. His goal was not only to deliver superior masonry restoration results, but also to ensure every client felt confident in the fairness and transparency of the project cost. These core values continue to guide our operations and client relationships today.

Passing the Trade to the Next Generation

Bruno always planned to pass the family masonry business on to his son, Thomas, who began working alongside his father in 1995. To ensure Thomas developed true craftsmanship and integrity, Bruno insisted he start at the very bottom—just as he had—as a masonry laborer.
 

Over the course of 30+ years, Thomas worked his way up through every position in the field, learning tuckpointing, bricklaying, restoration techniques, and jobsite management. Today, Bruno and Thomas work together to run the family business, providing high-quality masonry restoration services at honest and competitive prices throughout Chicagoland.

Bruno Construction Masonry, Inc. is fully licensed, bonded, and insured. We hold a valid Masonry Contractor license with the City of Chicago and many surrounding suburbs, as well as a General Contractor license. This allows us to manage masonry projects from start to finish—including permit acquisition, inspections, and code compliance.
